Little John Park
Since the April membership meeting, the SP Beautification Committee has been working with Ryan Rinn, Capital Project Planner for the City of Richmond Department of Parks and Recreation on a preliminary concept for Little John Park. As a result of this hard work, an application, compiled from the survey results and collected feedback, has been submitted to the City, and was presented to the Urban Design Committee September 10th.
The UDC will review the application, narrative, draft site plan and other documents our committee has created. UDC feedback to Parks and Recreation, along with neighborhood input, will guide the City's formal design phase. Members of the Beautification committee will attend this meeting. SP residents are welcome to attend in person or virtually. If you have any questions, you are welcome to respond to this email.
