VDOT Survey

VDOT is proposing significant changes to roadways around Bellevue and the Northside, and your input is needed. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey by August 8:

Here’s a quick overview of what’s on the table:

1.        Permanent closure of I-95 North exit to Westbrook Avenue (Exit 80):This would eliminate a key access point for Northside residents and reroute traffic to the already congested Laburnum/Hermitage intersection.

2.        Reconstruction of the Hermitage Road bridge over I-95:This bridge connects Westbrook Avenue to the Bryan Park entrance and will be fully rebuilt.

3.        Widening I-95 North:A new lane would be added to help traffic merge from I-64 Eastbound onto I-95 North, extending about 1,500 feet in both directions from the merge.

4.        Mini-roundabout at Arthur Ashe Boulevard on-ramp to I-95 North:This would replace the current traffic signal and remove one through-traffic lane in each direction on Ashe/Hermitage.
